Hey I’m not going to knock a dub before it comes even comes out there are great dubs out there cowboy bebop for one. Also not everyone can get into anime if it’s subbed because at the end of the day you still don’t understand the language if you don’t understand the language and you can’t connect to the language if you don’t understand it. if the language was an easy one to learn then you wouldn’t need subtitles would you.

Yeah I hear ya but for someone that is a sucker for an artbox it is hard to pass up. Especially after how amazing the Aria one is.

Wasn't sure whether to hop in on this one or not, but the trolling convinced me to put in a pledge.

I expect it'll have no trouble getting fully funded when all's said and done.

I don't mind the price. I mind the lack of a pledge option for the original dirty pair. As flash is included, the box will probably also feature flash artwork. I have zero interest in that.
If i wanted flash i would have bought the JP blu- ray box.

I hope it’s a new blu ray transfer and not just the Japanese blu rays.

Well, it has only been a couple of hours since I asked and we have a whole month to bug them about what transfer they're using (or to bail if the transparency isn't opaque enough for one's liking). I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

You know at the very least they could just say its the same transfers or new ones hiding what they’re transfers isn’t going to matter either why so why bother.

Just because you like your anime subbed doesn’t mean everyone does even a big YouTuber like benette the sage of anime abandon prefers dubs. yes a lot of dubs are bad but most people either aren’t willing to watch it subbed or if they are blind or have problems reading can’t enjoy it without a dub. understand sub watching as much as you like it is kinda small compared to the dub market period.

Sorry but people are tired of the "dubs suck" shitposts. Really brings the mood down around here. Don't know why people feel the need to post it all the time. I guess they need some kind of validation.

It gets posted almost daily, and it's not a well-conceived or original thought.

I'm only interested in Project Eden so there's no way I'm backing at the 250$ just for that.

Hopefully they'll do a stand alone release later on for it or at worst for all theatrical releases like for the DVDs in a bundle.

They will but it will be at least six months after backers get their copies.

Well that was $275 I wasn't planning on spending. I've been thinking of selling some of my anime steelbooks, so that'll soften the blow.
