Only interested in the film (Project Eden) and the OVAs. Will they be released with Japanese audio and English subs?

I don't get the posts complaining about the price. $60 for a 24 episode TV series blu-ray set seems quite reasonable to me

Backed the $135 tier + artbook. I will likely also get the movie and OVA sets, but either through slacker backer or wait for the standard retail release. I've heard Flash isn't that great and the other extras at the $250 tier aren't that appealing to me, but I definitely want that chipboard box to go with my Aria and Emma boxes.

I'll definitely pass for now and wait for a standard release. I am not spending $250 (367 Canadian) for all of that.

I think the complaining kicks in when we move to the "The whole series" package and the annoying "Well, you can get the OVAs, the Movies and the Series, but you have to get the shot glasses, bumper stickers and the Kei and Yuri swizzle sticks too".

If it were just the whole series at 175 bucks without the worthless chotchkie, I'd have signed on without hesitation or remorse. But I don't need that other crap, so I'm waiting at the 60 dollar level to see if they make any moves with the tiers.

I'm still on the fence about this. DP is one of my all-time favorite anime, but the tiers of this KS make absolutely no sense. I just want the Blu-rays, I really don't care about all the useless trinkets. I love me some chipboard boxes, and I want the OVAs and films, but not all the tat for $250. I'll probably just pledge at the $60 tier and wait for the retail release of the movies/OVAs.

I'm right there with you when it comes to useless trinkets. The days of a keychain, poster and some toys being a reason for me to drop an extra $100+ are over. Booklets are alright but typically I'll look at it once and never again. I'm listing random items here, not referring to Dirty Pair in particular.

Give me the discs in a case and I'm good. A chipboard or a slip are nice too, anything else is unnecessary. Inflating prices with useless items has gotten out of hand recently.

People here really seem to like this show so that's good enough for me. Although I don't really do kickstarters I will certainly buy one when it comes out.

Any chance they do a chipboard box during normal release? Or do you think that'll be exclusive to the KS versions and it'll just be standard editions?

Artbox is exclusive to the Kickstarter just like the previous two they did.

Certain redubs if the redub is to keep it consistent with others shows featuring the same characters that’s when I would like a redub for those related ovas and movies etc. when it comes to the redubs of the dragon ball franchise and evangelion netflix redub which wouldn’t have been bad if one they didn’t make changes that ruin the intended meaning of the original Japanese dialog and two change the cast that most people like. which why changing rei’s voice in the funimation rebuild dub was stupid to me.

It could very well be, there's a lot of stretch goals not revealed yet. It would probably be towards the latter half of the list, though, since it would naturally cost a lot more than just the redub of the series.

This is also what annoys me about project a-ko really the sequels had to have a different English dub cast. this also annoys me with video games that keep recasting the characters that are part of major franchises. resident evil though the remake made the right call recasting the characters in that game still the recasting in the series as a whole bugs me. sonic games recasting characters bugs me too. The only game that consistently had the same voices for the most part is the Mario franchise etc.

I already have the JP BD box, but I'll back this if it uses masters without the DNR or censorship. I'm not getting my hopes up, though.

Kickstarters always come out at the worst times for me to support them. And of course with Kickstarters that I support I don’t want to just do the $1 or just enough to get the Blu-ray. I’m an all or nothing type of person. So the Top Tier one is the one I would do if it were possible.
