I am not a fan of that animation style at all. Yikes. And Vash's redesign looks really generic. Like, almost Atlus/Guilty Gear-ish =/

Even the Bounty is significantly less.

As soon as I heard it was going to be CG I knew I'd be disappointed. I was right. At least it doesn't look as terrible as what they did to Berserk, but I still won't watch it probably. The redesign is bleah. Why do they keep taking great anime and turning them in CG? Just do more traditional animation, please.

There’s been a lot of speculation that Stampede may in fact be a prequel considering Vash’s redesign, the smaller bounty, and the fact that Meryl, Milly, and Wolfwood have yet to be cast.

I thought the whole point of his original bounty was that when Knives activated the cannon inside Vash’s Angel Arm that Vash got the blame for that and instantly got that extremely high bounty on him. It’s why he got the Humanoid Typhoon nickname. So having a time where his bounty is much less doesn’t make sense since Vash is not the type of person to have done anything to get a bounty on him until that happened.

I don’t know, man. It looks as if they might’ve changed some things. Even Knives’ name is different in the subbed trailer.

they ruined my boy! this really hit hard. from plot speculations it sounds awful and the art design is bad too. damn. why the hell is vash rearing a hoodie?

I think it looks awesome. CG has come a long way and Orange has been leading the way.

Yeah, it's really hard to get down with this stuff. They look like the low-budget, low-effort, after-school kids cartoons on CN.

There are other way cooler (Netflix Originals / streaming) shows like Cyberpunk or Castlevania that I can watch instead.

As someone who has just heard about Trigun because of the remake/sequel announcement, is it worth going over the originals? If yes, what's the best order?

It’s pretty simple, just watch the tv series and then the movie. That’s it.

Animation looks like any other CG anime, while art style looks like any other modern anime. Hard pass.
