Oh my god! Let me guess, the female pilot will be hot too right?!?

Ok I'm just going to go ahead and say it, I am sick and tired of Hollywood INSISTING on putting females in these kinds of roles even though the likelyhood in real life is extremely remote! Just like in Stealth. Ok, so Jessica Biel WAS hot to look at but come on! Compared to the population there are EXTREMELY few fighter pilots. On top of that even fewer that are elite enough to train at the Top Gun academy. On top of THAT, even fewer female fighter pilots and moreso, even FEWER that look like her. Ok, there! I said it! If I'm sexist, I'm sexist.

It's kind of like how in so many court room movies you see them cast black female judges. Again, the likelyhood is next to nil but they try to portray it as if it's sooooo commonplace. There, I said it again! I guess now I'm both sexist AND racist!

no it wouldn't. cause then she'd have a female character she tries seducing and ends up in bed with doing the nasty. and with rosie i do mean nasty. therefore you have even more of a chance of seeing rosie naked again. and do we really need that. the world's suffering enough as it is.

Dude, you need to see some of the ladies driving fighters for the military. Hot would barely cover it. Not only that, they know what they're doing....

Maybe this time they keep the standby AI from spinning....

Probably not a very good idea. But then again when I had heard that Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker I thought that was a bad idea as well...that was the biggest example of underestimating someone/something I have ever done.

Bad idea or not; there is no doubt that Tom Cruise can definatly make some $$ at the Box Office. To be honest, if people can look past his antics and what to some may seem like a very bad personality, he has made quite a few good, and to some degree "classic" movies. Shit, i will go see anything he makes; and top gun 2 sounds ok.
