What keeps me from pulling the trigger is the digital copy of A Link Between Worlds pre-installed. I already have the digital version because it was included with the 3DS XL. Had it been a physical release instead of digital, or just not include it at all and lower the price a bit (because the game is factored into the price), then Id buy it.

I had to buy a grip for mine and the only things that bother me is that the grip blocks both the cartridge port and the stylus hole. One other minor gripe is the power button. With the grip on I have to use the stylus to press it.

Is it actually already on there though? In the past like for the SNES one that I have, it just came with a download code.

I've already got the game physically but my hope was that it was a code so that I can just give it to my son.

When they say "pre-installed" its already on there.

When I got my 3DS XL, they used the word "included" and it was in a download code.

When I bought my Wii U, the words "pre-installed" was used, and Mario Kart 8 was indeed already on the hard drive. There was a download code for the DLC however, but not the actual game.

Love mine so far, how badly do I want a 3DS XL with Super Nintendo body and Mario Kart? I do have Mario 2 and Pokemon Crystal installed on my 2DS so that's a factor.

I just use my normal 2DS as a back-up system and to trade myself Pokemon. I will say it's a bit odd (to me) that Target no longer seems to be selling the 2DS or 3DS systems in-store. Not to mention the NES and SNES mini systems are also no longer available. Guess the Switch is the thing these days.
