Titles that should be on it but won't due to licence issues or marketing due to age ratings ect.

Banjo-Kazooie
Blast Corps
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Diddy Kong Racing
GoldenEye 007
Jet Force Gemini
Pilotwings 64
Perfect Dark
Pokémon Stadium

A mix of most likely list of 15-20 titles that will end up on it.

1080° Snowboarding
Bomberman 64
Donkey Kong 64
ExciteBike 64
F-Zero X
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Mario Kart 64
Mario Party
Mario Tennis
Paper Mario
Pokémon Snap
Star Fox 64
Super Mario 64
Super Smash Bros.
Wave Race 64
Yoshi's Story

Plus a surprise ala Star Fox 2 with one of the following.

Sin and Punishment
Animal Crossing
Earthbound 64 < not likely.

That's why I won't be buying this. There's a lot of good third party games and I know they won't get released ok this like WWF NO MERCY

goldeneye 007
perfect dark
Mario cart

those are the 3 it would need to have for me to spend any money on it. then it'll turn into a time suck for me & my buddies who used to play all 3 of those games back when we were in high school.

Between the two lists I went over 30 titles but obviously most in the 2nd list are long shots.

Titles published by Nintendo so all should hopefully be fair game:
Banjo-Kazooie
Blast Corps
Bomberman 64
Cruis'n USA
Donkey Kong 64
Dr. Mario 64
Excitebike 64
F-Zero X
GoldenEye 007
Killer Instinct Gold
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Mario Kart 64
Mario Party
Mario Tennis
Paper Mario
Pilotwings 64
Pokémon Stadium
Sin and Punishment - never officially released in NA for 64 so could be cool
Star Fox 64
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire - the only cartridge I still have
Super Mario 64
Super Smash Bros.
Wave Race 64
Yoshi's Story

Ignoring licensing issues for these titles:
Castlevania
Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Diddy Kong Racing
Fighting Force 64
Gauntlet Legends
Harvest Moon 64
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
Jet Force Gemini
Madden Football 64
Nightmare Creatures
Perfect Dark
Ready 2 Rumble Boxing
Road Rash 64
San Francisco Rush
Shadowgate 64: Trials of the Four Towers - never got around to playing this but I love the original NES game
South Park
Star Wars: Episode I: Battle for Naboo
Superman - because all should be subjected to this game at one point in their life haha
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter

Dream title:
Earthbound 64 - never finished but one can hope...

I'd likely be excited, but I recently bought an n64 with expansion, four controllers and games that won't be on the mini so I'm good if I miss out

Banjo-Kazooie, as with all of Rare's non-Nintendo-IP N64 titles, appears to be owned by Microsoft at this point, so its inclusion seems unlikely. I can see them working out a deal for Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64, but the rest are probably out. Goldeneye would be even harder, since the rights aren't owned by Rare, Microsoft, or Nintendo. In fact, I have no idea who even owns the Bond video game rights; it was Activision for a while, but it seems like they maybe don't anymore. So that title's definitely going in. It sucks, but them's the breaks.

I assume a Mini N64 lineup would be almost exclusively Nintendo titles, since third party support for the N64 was really bad. It'll probably end up with even fewer titles than the Mini SNES, and likely retail for more as well. And I don't even know how they're gonna deal with the controllers - most likely, they'll add support for Wii U and Switch controllers so they don't have to cram 4 replica N64 pads in the box, because even Nintendo's not stupid enough to put out a console with Smash Bros. on it that can't support 4 players.

I would be happy with Banjo Kazooie, Cruis'n USA, Cruis'n World and international superstar soccer 64.

Nintendo owns the Donkey Kong IP so there will be zero issue putting any DK related titles in the N64 mini.

Since this console is inevitably happening sometime next year, there is a big question at hand. This console probably used alot more space, for each game than the super nes. I would not be suprised if an n64 game used anywhere from 300-500 mb per game. The mini nes and super mini nes had a 512 mb storage. How will they sell a mini n64, without jacking up the price by at least $50 more?? Thats the million dollar question.

N64 games are smaller than you think. Here's some examples....

Super Mario 64 = 6mb
Goldeneye = 11mb
Banjo Kazooie = 16mb
Conker's Bad Fur Day is one of the biggest at 59mb.

So depending on what games they can get access to and how many, they might need more space. They will need better hardware to run the games full speed and accuracy as well. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come until 2019 and the concentrated on selling NES and SNES in 2018.

While I wont doubt you on the size, and believe me im shocked they were that small, but I will doubt you on the size of the controller, the original n64 controller is TOO BIG for a mini console. It would look out of place. The nes and snes controllers worked and looked good, with the minis because they were small to begin with.

If they include a smaller version of the controller, whichever third party that makes a full sized controller is going to clean up.

There's a reason why the Japanese Famicom classic wasn't a popular item for importers. The mini controllers killed it for many people (like me).

Diddy Kong Racing has a few characters that now belong to Microsoft.Banjo,Conkers ect & i can't see Nintendo editing out the characters so DKR might be a no no.
