Amazon US buy digital movie from UK - Blu-ray Forum

Any idea how this is possible folks?? It won't let me pay via any credit/debit cards as they've all been issued in the UK. If I redeem an Amazon.com gift card will that work? It's Richard Stanley's The Otherworld. I've been after it for so long, finally got a copy from Sweden only to find the subs are in Finnish and Swedish! Really appreciate if someone could shed some light on this. Thanks

Highly unlikely due to licensing restrictions. You might try a VPN, but you'll still have card issues; and if Amazon is taking a page from Netflix you won't be able to stream thru the VPN.

Gift card will most likely work but the question is...will you be able to stream it in UK? You may want to test the theory first by maybe purchasing a $0.99 video and see if you can stream it and then go from there. Also just found that "Richard Stanley's The Otherworld" is available on Netflix US

iTunes doesn’t do geo-blocking. I’m not sure about Amazon Video though. I’d be interested to know, if anyone can provide an answer.

Amazon does not block geo blocking, however, you have to use amazon US apps to access purchased video. To purchase video, you must also use US issued credit card.
You can purchase and try to play on the web, then you’ll know.

once you buy the game from Amazon you go to your digital locker, retrieve the key and plug that into STEAM. Ive never had a problem. Ever.
