Default Aeon Flux (2005) German Import BD

I live here in the States, and I just wanted to ask about the picture quality of the Region-Free, German import of 2005's "Aeon Flux"? I'd like to get this particular BD as it has lossless DTS-HD Master Audio, while the US version has lossy DTS and has as long as it's been on Blu here in the US.

Thanks for your input.....

I just finished watching it, and I thought it looked pretty good. Check out the caps:

Unfortunately, they don't have the US caps to compare it to, nor do I have the US release. But I didn't see anything problematic like banding or macroblocking. I'm happy with it.

Glad you're happy with it. Thanks very much for the video and audio measurements.

You're welcome. I've been meaning to watch it, so this was the perfect opportunity. I think it's worth a purchase if you can find a good price. It'll probably get announced on 4K the second you buy it though.

JPC has it often included in their 3for18€ offer; it’s also often included in amazons 10for50 sale.

I recommend the Japanese version, as it's relatively cheap, AVC encoded and has extras.

Ignore that hideous cover, it's a paper sleeve that's removable.

This is the actual artwork:
