I realize there's been several side conversations on this topic, but I thought it would be nice to consolidate all the information out there. Especially because I'm just plain confused!
I have several originally-Lionsgate titles, that are now listed as Miramax and they show as duplicates in my iTunes Mac library. I have hid the Lionsgate versions, and my expectation is that some of the Miramax titles will get a 4K upgrade. Some examples: The Others Pulp Fiction (can't remember, I may have re-purchased this as Miramax) No Country for Old Men Scream 1-3. What's the story here, and have any of the titles that got a duplicate Miramax version ever get a 4K upgrade? Or, have I lost my mind and accidentally purchased duplicates over the years? |

If you’ve got duplicates that are stating the studio is Miramax then you can only of re-purchased them.
Have a look at your purchase history, if you purchased any after July 2020 then thats when Paramount took over and the new listings appeared in the store. |

EDIT - OK I guess I did purchase all of these these twice ugh. Well dumb on me for seeing a movie on sale, and not checking to see if I already had an old/different listing in my iTunes. Last edited by turns2stone; 11-03-2022 at 06:25 PM. |

The iTunes Store/Movies app however will only show the current store listing. |

Interesting. But annoying. As I'd prefer not to have to turn on the TV, etc. when I'm usually seeing the sales on my iPhone/Mac. But now I'll know better! For independent films, I do often do a double-check, just because I know that studios occasionally switch.

You can’t quite see it in this image but the iTunes Store is showing Pulp Fiction available for purchase, yet the ATV app shows I already have it. Last edited by -Gonzo-; 11-03-2022 at 08:10 PM. |

On my Windows PC iTunes, 2 of my Lionsgate/Miramax titles go wonky when I click on the "Show in iTunes Store" tab. She's All That goes to the Store home page (not the title itself) and Good Will Hunting goes to Milk. ???
