Has anyone else received a copy of Synchronic? I got mine today sent from hmv and itís arrived slip-less, just wondering if thereís supposed to be a slip (as with Possessor and Relic recently).

Did anyone buy the DVD of Wakefield and can comment on the extras? It's only £3 on Amazon and other retailers and features cast interviews

Thumbs up Unearth from Signature on 28 June

A small town falls prey to mother nature as big business rolls in and disturbs a killer pathogen thatís laid dormant beneath the ground for centuries.

As the drilling starts the health of the community starts to fail and the land begins to rot. As time moves on, tensions rise but unbeknownst to the town, the rot that has infected their land is also killing them one by one.

Prepare to unearth all out edge of your seat terror, as nature wages war on the human race with truly horrifying results.

Stars: Adrienne Barbeau, Marc Blucas, PJ Marshall, Allison McAtee, Rachel McKeon, Monica Wyche, Brooke Sorenson.

Trailer:

Was shot in 4 & 6K on high-end Leica Summilux lenses but looks like only a DVD release for hard media at this point.

Is that usual for Signature these days? Adrienne Barbeau and Marc Blucas are pretty well-known entities.

Missed a trick with the last minute Christmas present for dad market there. I'm convinced the entire home video market for Liam Neeson films is the dad/father in law equivalent of a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates from the petrol station for mum/the missus when you suddenly remember it's her birthday on the way home.

Escape from Pretoria starring Daniel Radcliffe belatedly gets a Blu-ray a week from now. Amazingly, per DVDCompare there are 80 minutes worth of extras.

I enjoyed that when I watched it on Prime, so I will probably pick the Blu-Ray up.

Signature will release Park Hoon-jung’s The Witch Part II on 28th November, though I don’t know if the first film was ever released over here.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Witch-Part-...dp/B0B8PDKSPC/

Signature are also releasing Terrifier double feature on 24th October.

Just saw that listing for The Witch Part 2, and you're right, it's a bit odd if they're not releasing the first film. Curious to see both films as two other Park Hoon-jung films have made it over here via Eureka (New World, The Tiger). Strange that Night in Paradise didn't follow those, in fact

Gets curiouser - Amazon are showing as "temporarily out of stock" and the Signature site indicates it's a digital-only release (also states there that the first film has both digital and DVD - but not apparently Blu - releases from 2019?). Will wait and see if Amazon do ship before the price of the Region A gets much higher!
