I was 17-19 when these were originally broadcast. How starved we were of content back then. I remember being excited by band appearances (even though they were only miming) and I liked how the irreverance extended into the music presentation too. It was refreshing to see the musicians having a laugh at it all too. Now someone release The Tube please.
