Polish distribution company Pro-Motion with cooperation with other organizations release some Polish classics on Blu-ray:
Pociąg (Night Train) - Jerzy Kawalerowicz
Austeria (The Inn) - Jerzy Kawalerowicz
Popiół i diament (Ashes and Diamonds) - Andrzej Wajda




Sanatorium pod klepsydrą (The Hour-Glass Sanatorium) by Wojciech Has is also expected in near future.

I have the Polish Blu-ray release of the O-nommed Andrzej Wajda film Katyn. The quality is very good and the release is also English friendly. I guess I will get one of them to see how the quality is and if it is good also the others. I would also like to see Polanski's Polish film Knife in the Water on Blu.

(Checking whether a disc is a BD25/single layer or BD/50 double layer is extremely easy. Flip it over and if you see one circle/line/layer in the middle, it is BD25; if you see two circles/lines/layers overlapping each other, it is BD50).

Do you have the Google toolbar? If so, you should be able to Google Translate entire text on web pages into English, it works pretty well and can even be used with some online forms.

I find it invaluable when ordering from non-English sites.

bluedvd.pl canceled my order and told me to pay with a bank transfer. So I went to punkt44.pl and placed my order there. Not only did I get one extra movie that bluedvd didn't have in stock, my order was only $5.00 more including shipping! That is awesome, they just sent it unbeknownst to you, or was it listed on the item page? Cause I don't see it mentioned there...

Also, is the disc 1080i or 1080p?

McCrutchy - The flask arrived in my order without my anticipation. I don't know Polish, so I've no clue as to whether or not it was in the product description at the time I placed the order. Can't wait to try it out though, once the wife requests my presence at some function that doesn't normally involve alcohol consumption....
