According to the official press release, the UK disc contains Portuguese (continental, not Brazilian) subtitles. I believe it is identical to the U.S. release, but I would recommend getting the UK release because it is obviously meant to be sold in a couple of different European markets (it is not a worldwide release), so it would make sense that the disc does not have Brazilian/Portuguese subtitles:

I just ordered the US version of Cloverfield, so I should be able to report soon whether it is Brazilian or Continental Portuguese.
