The Loved Ones (2009) Region Free??? - Blu-ray Forum

I love this movie, one of the best horror movies ive seen in awhile. I was hoping someone could help me find out if its region free so I could take advantage of the uk blu-ray that just came out. Thanks

Hold out for the ultimate version,, around 2-3 months after theatrical release. Or you will feel like a numptie

I just popped it into my US PS3 and it's definitely region locked.

Massive LOL at the movie company insider, kind enough to message me and apologize for removing my post from The Loved One's Facebook page, saying how much I enjoyed the movie, after watching the UK blu-ray. Apparently this information is potentially harmful to the film's release in its native land in November. What a massive insult to everyone's intelligence.

This movie was made in 2009 and has been shown theatrically in various territories and of coarse is available legally in the UK on DVD and blu-ray. Are we implying that Australians are too daft to know how to import or,(*shock*), obtain a copy via other methods? How about not sitting on a film for so long,so that it's not even been shown in the COUNTRY IT WAS MADE IN, eh? Dumb f**ks!!

Rented it a couple of weeks back.

Good horror film. Reminded me of a mixture of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Martyrs.

Worth a watch just for some of the gruesome scenes. Torture porn at its best.

The US is finally getting a theatrical release in June from Paramount Insurge! I'm so excited that this is getting a wide release.

I'm sooo getting this when the Blu-ray hits the U.S. market

I love the poster artwork! I hope they use this for the U.S. Blu-ray... A steelbook and/or slipcover of it would be amazing

Saw this movie recently on Netflix without knowing anything about it.

Have since suggested it to my horror film friends and am hoping to get it on blu-ray.

This film is really something special.
