Not that I know of. You should ask the original creator of this thread, Esteban, he usually has this kind of info. But since he's posted nothing new, I'm assuming there's nothing new to announce.

Jungle Book has been released in Luxembourg, but I'm still waiting for Robin Hood, Oliver and Sword in the stone (though technical disappointment awaits me).

^ I'm super excited that Hercules is getting released here. It's one of my all-time favorite Disney movies. Just worried about the amount of extras (probably just the DVD extras carried over, I don't really care that much) and the PQ.. I hope this won't be one of those CAPS releases with heavy aliasing like HotR, Emperor's New Groove etc.

Remember how great the 720p version of Hercules looked? Ahhhh.. It'll be pure eye candy in 1080p.. Here's to hoping it fares better than the likes of HoND and such..

It's also in my top 10. Pocahontas and Beauty and the Beast looked like they were made yesterday without looking odd or losing all the detail, so I hope that's also the case with Hercules.

Looks like the UK version to me... that one comes with Dutch subs which I know to be true because I own it.

It are UK versions. Many titles have Dutch sub and dubs, but not all. Peter Pan had (own it). Some kind of guidline;

Back catalog release mostly have Dutch sub/dub. Recent titles mostly not. Platinum/Diamond; Early mostly. Later on; no.

Latest news, through the Facebook page of Disney Belgium, they gave the following statement;

"Unfortunately we have to disappoint you. Neither The Black Cauldron, neither The Great Mouse Detective are getting a BLU RAY release. Our apologies."

I guess this is it. The end of Disney Classics coming on BLU RAY. While the latest releases (october 2014) are hard to find in shops, right from the beginning. It looks like they are giving up BLU RAY and go full force for VOD. Which is no succes at all overhere.

I have to confess the fact I'm pissed with this news. We'll never get the rest of the movies we love with the subtitles we need, neither the dutch or flemish version for the kids. It sucks big time. And I'm left with an incomplete collection. We all are.

I'm giving up on them.

Nope. It's official. Disney Benelux killed the blu-ray line of the Disney Classics. The older titles that weren't yet available, will never come.
