Hi

I am told HBO's Game Change is SD (I have a copy on order so I can double check).

Titles I have in iTunes HD

End of Watch with Extras
Death Race 3 with Extras
Hit and Run with Extras

Game Change did redeem as SD for me also, but I contacted HBO and they said to Contact Apple because it should have come as HD, so I am awaiting a new code to redeem it in HD. Contact Apple and tell them HBO said it should have come as HD and they will send you a new code.

The list is flawed. I await the day - Disney gives out HD titles.

The list isn't flawed, I can only go by what people tell me. I thought it was HD where someone said it was and a tv commercial for it that said HD Digital Copy. I will correct it.

It's funny cause I contacted Paramount and asked if any of their movies (includes Paranormal Activity Movies) that include digital copies redeem in HD and they stated, "The Digital Copy feature for all Paramount Pictures titles is offered only in Standard Definition. The packaging states, "THE DIGITAL COPY CONTAINS A COPY OF THE MOTION PICTURE ONLY, IN STANDARD DEFINITION FORMAT, WITH AN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRACK."

It's not denoting what you will get, it's the actual release you have to buy to get the digital copy.

We took up this issue with Apple and you will be glad to hear that it has been resolved. If you have already redeemed your token for Game Change and received only the SD version, please contact Apple Support and ask for a new token to redeem the title in HD.

Apple is having problems with this particular movie, if you look at it, it says you can buy it in HD, but under size it only lists the SD size. They have given me 2 redemption codes and first said it's only available in 720p, then when that didn't work they said that the code is only for SD. They need to edit this movie and enter in the HD information so people can download it correctly! I have also let HBO know the problems that I have been having trying to redeem Game Change.

You are welcome, I am the owner of the list, with contributions from some great users! Surprisingly, when I have talked to the studio, they say there is no such lists. Too bad, I would love to get my hands on them so we have the info in the spreadsheet. It's cool, we all were newb at one point!

Yeah a list from the studios would be perfect. Takes the human error out of it. I asked Universal if they would give me a list and they responded with this:

They said I could ask about a specific title. Just to be a smarta**, I was thinking about creating a list of all Universal's Blurays that come with iTunes digital copy and send that to them. So yeah I got a specific title, all of them! haha I guess I won't though.

If I have to, I will but I'm going to wait for their response to my last message. I simply asked,

"Wouldn't it be much easier/faster to provide a list or something similar and actually solve this problem? Or are you going to force me to ask you the same question over and over again for each movie? I don't understand why you're not able to provide your consumers with the full details of the product's you sell???? When a customer pays for a product, they should know what's included without having to ask. But nope, your industry can't even label a digital copy's quality specs on the said product. So basically, I just wasted 2 minutes of my life, that I will never get back, by asking you a question that I should of never had to ask in the first place. We appreciate it, Hollywood!"
