Recent purchases of Blu-Rays with Portuguese

I recently bought the comedy film Death at a Funeral (2010 remake) for $8.99 from Amazon.ca (it's gone up since).

It turns out that not only is it region free (according to the back of the case), but there's also a Portuguese dub language track (probably Brazilian Portuguese, since the cover makes a point of specifying that the French track is a Quebec dub), as well as Portuguese subtitles for both the film and the director's audio commentary.

According to the back of the box, my copy of Black Hawk Down ("Blu-Ray Essentials" bilingual cover version bought at Future Shop in Canada for $7.99) has Portuguese subtitles (no dub track, and probably Brazilian, since the other subs are for Pacific Rim languages).

Are you sure The Good, The Bad and The Ugly has european portuguese subtitles?, because with portuguese audio it seems brazilian.
I have the portuguese edition and has different specs.

Well I checked and they seemed to be european portuguese subtitles, but I can check again later and confirm.


But that portuguese edition is from 2009, and this uk edition it's the new one from 2014, remastered 4k.

What about the US version? Anybody know if the Portuguese is Brazilian?

American edition has brazilian subtitles, i'm sure. But you have 2 to choose in Brazil, 20th Century Fox edition should be a better choice.

For anyone that is looking for Breaking Bad series, the nordic edition has portuguese subtitles, only the 5th season hasn't.

The Blu Ray version of Jim Henson's Labyrinth, starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connely, has Portuguese audio. It is one of the best kids movies ever but adults will enjoy it too.

Yeah, mostly are from the UK (ie: Rocky Collection, Batman Anthology and Spartacus)

The Godfather Trilogy is from Italy;

The Star Wars Saga is from Portugal;

Excalibur is the german edition. (this edition has both european and brazilian portuguese subtitles)
