I don't work for DFW, so none taken. I think there is no re-release on short term. You can import it though. I thought it was out in Germany as well (no Dutch subtitles though).

can any of you dutch friends tell me whether "PIETJE BELL" 1 and 2 will come to BD? I think it's by buena vista. Bought the DVD in Amsterdam Schiphol, and enjoyed it. "Shrik Van Rotterdam" - the soundtrack, is quite a nice piece of music

Pietje Bell is not presently available on blu-ray and for the first half of 2008 it isn't either, though things can always change.

The movies are a lot of fun but I don't know if Buena Vista thinks it will be cost effective for a blu-ray release.

I haven't actually watched the second movie, but based on the first, I liked it.

It is a pity Hero has the theatrical version only.

Hopefully the unrated version of Unleashed will be released soon (not the theatrical cut, which has been released on DVD). As well as the uncut version of Saw.

MSetten: It isn't 100% reliable. I also have POTC3. But it is the most complete list. Unfortunately the Simpsons would be delayed to february.

1408 has a english audio track and looks stunning! even on my 26 inch lcd i think its one of the nicest looking blu rays i own

Hero won't have a english track or subtitles its the same specs as the bluray copy released in germany.

I owned 1408 (just sold it). It looks and sounds very nice indeed.

Hero appears to have a variable transfer. Good, but not great. It is correct it only has Dutch subtitles. Price is nice however; 16,99 Euro. It is not the Director's Cut like the German release.

Both have the correct aspect ratio (however it is wrongly stated on the cover of Hero) and DTS HD MA.

I believe it will be a world wide release (perhaps with Wall-e?). It has been rumoured to be released in the USA, but no clue on a date. This might be a indication for the USA; September.
