Also, I noticed I have both versions of Daredevil but I'm pretty sure I've only purchased The Director's Cut. It's not an extra tho, when I told Siri to pull up Daredevil, it gave me the option for the theatrical, but then within the theatrical there was a "versions" option that would let me watch the Extended.

For Daredevil I think you have it switched. The Theatrical version includes iTunes extras which have the Director's cut.
I have the Director's cut and there is no option for theatrical and the Siri trick does not work for me.

Yeah looks like only one cut of the movie. Upon further inspection, it looks like Siri was playing tricks on me.

When I ask her to find Daredevil this pops up, which doesn't mention the Director's Cut:

I select the movie and then this screen appears. Notice the time of the movie is the same as the theatrical.

However,when I clicked for it to play I get the director's cut with the 2 hr play time, which is the title that I own on my iTunes library.

Yes, the Daredevil Theatrical version includes the Director's cut as a bonus.

Is there any way to upgrade your SD copies to HD without buying the entire movie again? Doesn't seem very fair on iTunes part, they should at least let you pay the difference since you're not getting anything "free." Has anyone had any luck e-mailing or asking them for this?

No, there is no upgrade path on Vudu, iTunes, or any of the streaming services as far as I know. This is a request that is put in frequently on the Vudu forums and I am sure elsewhere.
Reportedly it is up to the studios to allow this and they don't right now.

Edit:Because someone may bring it up, the only 2 upgrade paths I know of are the Sony UV store allows upgrade of codes redeemed there and probably purchases SD to HD $5 and HD to UHD $15 I think. THe second is Disney for older SD XML code redemptions to HD when joining DMA.

If only Vudu would take note of what itunes is doing when it comes to Extended Cuts and Extras. The +Bonus Features version and the Regular version should just be one actual version!

Not to mention they can finally take off that ugly '+Bonus Features' banner!

Just redeemed The Martian Extended Edition on iTunes and it gives you the theatrical version in iTunes Extras.

Does anyone know how this one is working? I did a search and only saw one version listed in iTunes. Did they add the extended version to the theatrical release or am I just not seeing the extended in my search for some reason?
