I need to tell this: this company "brookfilm" doesn't sell it's products in major stores of here simply because them are not a licensed company. So their products have very questionable quality, all blu ray of them are recorded in printable bd-r.

I, personally, would flee from their releases.

I think that we should pretend that this release doesn't exist. When this thread was posted, I clicked on the FB link, and I saw that somebody asked if this will be a BD or a BD-r. As far as I can see, that question has been deleted.

AlexIlDottore: heh heh , yup.. that's what it comes down to.

I might go ahead and get one, just because the packaging does look pretty nice... BUT... it still comes down to whether or not it is true HD or an upconvert.

Regardless, if I do get one, I will post back here and give a full analysis.

In case anyone is still following this topic, I am not aware of anyone that has actually received this item to date, and the previous negative comments about this "distributor" seem to be quite accurate.

My own experience is as follows:

I placed an order on May 20th, shortly before this thread was created. The total amount authorized was R$49.50 BRL ($14.37 USD according to Paypal).

On May 24th, I received the following email:

Dear Client,



With great pleasure we confirm the receipt of your order in our online store.

Please be advised that shipping costs are for delivery in the Brazilian territory.

We provide shipping budget with the post office and, if necessary, we will ask you to add more money to your request through paypal.

In the meantime, I haven't received my order and have received no further communications from them that my order had been shipped or that additional funds would be required. I have gone ahead ahead and filed a dispute and claim with PayPal. Brookfilm did not respond, so PayPal has decided in my favor.
