Is there any consensus on the quality to the transfers on Diskino's non-American film releases?

Both The Last Emperor and Red Sorghum sound very interesting, but if the transfers aren't any good, then there's no point.

The Last Emperor and Jerry Maguire are out now. The theatrical version of The Last Emperor was from a 4K restoration source.

Beautiful stuff. Really liking this company. Wishing it was a LITTLE cheaper for shipping, but I totally get it.

Right now I only have Manchester by the Sea, with Get Out on order. And I'll definitely be picking up that Psycho version.

Oh yeah, these are fantastic. Just got Unforgiven and The Man Who Knew Too Much (which are now sitting right next to Rear Window). I have four preordered as well. Now if I can just find the first 7 or so releases....

Sorry, I'm new to the WCL/MLIFE releases. They are gorgeous! Are they typically Region-free or Region A compatible? They few I've looked up in the database all say untested.
