This is so disappointing. Really want a decent blu ray release for seasons 1,2, and 4. I did pick up season three and it looks alright to me. Does season four look substantially worse?

I just got Season 3 & 4 imported from the U.K.

First off for the people complaining about the Blu-Rays being at 25fps, Netflix is also at 25fps. This show was filmed at 25fps. There's no PAL speed up and Dazzler didn't screw up.

The Season 3 release looks great. No complaints from me about the Season 3 release. Very happy with it!

But the Season 4 release is pretty bad in terms of the video. Colours are off compared to what Netflix has. It's very grey and lacking the vibrancy that Netflix has. This is very very noticable in USS Callister. Like someone suggested, Dazzler Media might have gotten a 4k HDR master from Netflix/House of Tomorrow and didn't tonemap colours correctly (or at all) for the Blu-Ray release. I'm happy to have a Blu-Ray release but I'll probably just download a Netflix rip from somewhere and put that on my media server instead of rip the Blu-Ray like I always do. I've messaged Dazzler on Facebook to see if there's a way to get it replaced with one that has the colours fixed up and I'll update if I hear back but I'm quite disappointed with the Season 4 release.

I would recommend the Season 3 release but steer clear of the Season 4 release!

Perhaps it’s encoded in the wrong colour space, usually a culprit when there is grey blacks and lacking colour saturation? Is your player or tv capable of changing the colour space to expanded or PC RGB?

I've had a look around and my player can't do that. Any other colour adjustments I've tried making didn't fix it either.
Dazzler should definitley be replacing the Season 4 release...

What brand/model player do you have?

I hadn't realised there was a problem with the Season 4 blu-rays...

I Just did a quick test and forcing my TV into HDR10 does yield a much richer picture by comparison, haven't checked it against Netflix though
