I wonder whether everyone will be able to order direct, or it will be a situation similar to Dawn of the Dead, where they will only be able to sell directly to the UK and everyone else have to find other sources. Given the rightsholder, my money is on it being a similar situation.

I really wanted the Dawn set so I ended up ordering from multiple vendors to make sure I got a copy. Hopefully I won't have to do that with Martin.

I ordered two copies - one of both the UHD and the BD sets - from Amazon. Both arrived smashed up, and of course, by that time, Amazon were no longer able to offer any replacements.

Second Sight told me that they could only send replacement covers to UK addresses. Luckily a UK friend volunteered to act as a re-shipper.

I hope Martin won't turn out to give similar problems. But I am considering paying the hefty mark up and order it locally instead.

That sucks. I'm glad you were able to get it sorted out.

It mentions the release date and the fact that pre-orders will be showing up this week. That's pretty much it.

Thank you! I've been checking their website pretty much daily for the past few months, but I guess I'll be checking it even more often this week

Pre-orders go up tomorrow.

And for fellow US fans, Jesse at Diabolik said he will try to have them up for order tomorrow as well.

Supposedly there’s already a pre-order link up at Zavvi but I’ll be damned if I can find it. Their price is £55 and it allegedly includes a book and CD. I found a post on Instagram with a ‘mock-up’ of the package, and thankfully they use the original poster art for the outer box like they did for Dawn of the Dead.

Edited to add: https://www.zavvi.com/4k/martin-limi.../14202069.html

Yes, I believe there will be this deluxe box, plus separate non-deluxe releases for UHD and BD.

Must remember to switch the on "HRD10+" function when I play it. The only other one I have use it with is Dawn of the Dead, usually keeping it off because it can play havoc with Dolby Vision when left on.
