First of all, very pleased the Blu-ray releases for Chicago Fire are continuing in Germany (it puts your mind at ease/rest). I'm quite glad (compared to when Season 9 was released in Germany last year, based on the Blu-ray.com database listing) that the tenth season is coming out in late November. Back to a full-length season in the tenth season.

Sometime during the last few days, it appears that the German Blu-ray release of Chicago Fire: Season Ten is now available to pre-order if for example you're from the UK.

Guys wtf, i just opened my copy and i only have 4 discs. It came in a 4 disc viva elite case. The back says it has "Fünf" or "Five" discs & the episode guide on the inside of the insert also says this. It's not a missprint as i just popped in the 4th disc and only get up to episode 17.

So i'm now missing the last disc, can anyone else check their copies please.

Edit: i've emailed Universal, hoping to get a response soon.

I was going to pre-order/order my copy of the Season 10 Blu-ray set yesterday, only to find that after a short spell where if you're from the UK you could order a copy, it's currently not available.

That's a bit bizarre about your copy of the set, Kasim.

Yep i noticed that too. I'm not even sure i can request a replacement for the time being either. It says currently unavailable on Amazon UK as well so i'm just waiting to hear back from Universal and will see what they suggest. So annoying, fingers crossed it isn't a widespread issue

Unfortunately, it seems like there is a widespread issue with either a missing disc like Kasim2409, or a defective one. No one can order Chicago Fire: Season Ten from Amazon.de or most other retailers right now. According to Bluray-disc.de, Amazon seems to be under the impression that the Blu-ray is delayed until 20 December 2022, presumably to correct the issue:

Unfortunately, some other retailers didn't get the message and my copy already shipped from jpc.de, so hopefully, UPHE Germany will help send the missing disc.

I got a reply back from someone at Universal who contacted their German team but they said they weren't aware of any manufacturing errors with this set & to contact Amazon. I responded back to the person at Universal and sent them that link that McCrutchy sent above and explained it to them.


Edit: got another response, this is what they said -

Hi Kasim,

I’ve reached out to someone else and they have confirmed the error is a missing disc. Amazon informed the team they hadn’t shipped any stock when it was discovered so I’ve told them to go back and question this as that’s clearly not right.

Either way, Amazon will receive new stock and have said they will re-ship to you when it’s available. I would suggest you still contact Amazon so they are aware from your side and so they remember to send you a new product.

Thanks for flagging this as we wouldn’t have known to go back to Amazon again otherwise.

I'm just going to wait till they get the new stock and place another order. I wish Amazon weren't so quick to refund me so now i can't return the missing disc set but oh well it is what it is.

Yeah so i contacted Universal to begin with & at the time they were unaware of the issue so they told me to get in touch with Amazon. They issued a refund. I'd rather have returned it as i have no use for the incomplete set but oh well. I'd contact Amazon.

For sure, i'll definitely let you know when the other copy arrives.

Received the corrected copy today. Has the fifth disc but no slipcover. The copy i got a few weeks ago came with a slip so i'm glad i kept it lol

Thanks Kasim for posting your update on the now 'un-missing disc 5' in the German Blu-ray set of the tenth season. One of the positives on here today.

Sort-of off-topic, but hoping it'll be February in the UK when Sky Witness start showing the current, eleventh season, along with the other two One Chicago shows (if they started in January, we'd likely catch up with the States).

Thank you for letting us know! I did contact Amazon and they gave me a full refund and I'm allowed to keep the copy I received (which also had a slip thankfully), so I'll just order it again then.
