It Happened One Night (1934) not UHD on iTunes? - Blu-ray Forum

I just noticed there is a UHD version on VUDU and Fandango, but I think iTunes only goes up to HD. Anyone who own's it, can you please check?

I'll be curious to see if UHD really makes a difference with a 1934 black-and-white movie.

I bought the 4k, but never checked itunes since I never use itunes to watch movies on my tv, only vudu. It makes me want to check though. And I did notice some difference between the bluray disc and 4k. Just crispier. I don't know what 4k has to do with color.

Usually, 4K content is enhanced with HDR/DV, but not always on older films.

B&W in 4K would be all about the resolution. Plus it suggests that the film has been remastered, so it should automatically look better.

The 4K streaming version probably uses a newer master than the BD (which is from 2014).

Try streaming it on Movies Anywhere (which typically has better streaming quality than Vudu).
