Her HK output is definitely a different (superior) animal from her US productions (which can be said for a lot of actors who worked in both HK and the US). Funny enough, her role in this might not have happened if it weren't for Jackie Chan's injury on the set of Armour of God since she was originally set to fight him in the finale... but, with him out of commission, they needed to find something for her to do, lol. This is also one of Yuen Biao's best starring roles that didn't have the on-screen aid of either Jackie Chan or Sammo Hung (aside from Sammo doing some choreography for the final fight).

Great movie. Just watched the US Dragon Dynasty DVD for the first time last year, loved it so this will be a day 1 buy.

The HK stuntmen doubling for Rothrock and Sheperd should have been included on the cover. I swear they had more screentime than Melvin Wong.

Stomp Tokyo's review of the movie says that the Mandarin and Cantonese versions are different films with alternate scenes.

Great news and we all knew it was coming. While this is the UK thread, I'm crossing my fingers this gets a US release as well from 88 so it can get a large as possible audience. It's a fantastic film and one of the best from HK in the 80's.

And Rothrock has confirmed that this will have both cuts with two commentaries for them too

September announcements haven't been made for the US yet, so fingers crossed this and On the Run get a US release too.
