Very odd indeed.

I would have loved the theatrical edition to be fully remastered.

I prefer soundtrack that plays during the park fight. In the extended version, parts of the fight have no soundtrack playing.

Whilst the artwork is bad enough, the worst part for me is the Super Cop tagline is bigger than the Police Story III text, just takes me back to the horrible VHS era of multiple films trying to pretend they were part of the Police Story series.

Is the cover artist American? Why was the tagline on the cover used to make the film look like its called Super Cop? Worst JC cover by far from either Eureka or 88.

Of course not, but always nice to enjoy the artwork, after all we are all part of a dying physical collectors market.

Not the best, but definitely not affecting my purchase.
Cover art CAN prevent me from purchasing, however, when it looks like this

It’s probably because most people know the film as Super Cop instead of Police Story 3. I think the cover art is fine as well.

Define Ďmost peopleí!?
I can understand in the US sure, as it was always named that way, because the first two films never hit like they did in Europe, but this is not a US release, its a UK one, hence why i asked if the artist was American.

released by Phoenix Distribution. Region locked to 2 ,Cantonese and English subtitles, not sure why they would bother with that if a bootleg? Ice had a few dvds of this and this German release is easily the best .

I hope the trailers on this include the elusive English export trailer not seen since the UK VHS days and only available online in its German-dubbed form:

Phoenix Distribution, Imperial Pictures, Mr. Banker Films, ... all the same. All of them shady bootleg companies distributed by Cargo Records.
