Good effort and love Stephen Graham, but as with many contemporary Second Sight titles, I’m not sure how interested I am in buying an LE and would even hesitate to buy the regular BD unless it was relatively cheap. I’m sure the interviews and commentaries will be good but shame they couldn’t include Graham himself…

There's going to be a 5 part mini-series TV follow up to this film for the BBC & Stephen Graham, who mentioned this on Graham norton about 3 weeks ago, said they were going to start filming sometime in January.

Really liked it, good SS release as always, nice packaging for sure, high quality as we're used to see from them. The movie doesn't look too good in my rapidly deteriorating eyes, not because of SS, but because it was filmed that way. At least that's what I saw, a bit lacking in detail, depth, but like I said, its not SS fault. Neither is not seeing stephen graham in any of the extras, but its a big miss.
I saw this compared to uncut gems, and frankly I liked this a lot more. You lose yourself in the story from the first minute. Its a bit extreme and ultra negative about restaurants, but its a gripping movie from start to finish. |
