I am extremely interested in the UK release of the Exorcist blu ray, as like the US version, has the theatrical and extended versions. The US version is out of print and really expensive.
From what I've read, the UK version is the same as the US version. My question is this...I know that the UK version is region free, so I'd be able to watch the movie. But I was reading some reviews on amazon and one in particular got me nervous. That review said that the commentaries wouldn't play. So...do the bonus features of region free blu-rays work in america ? I have the old dvd set, so I COULD watch the commentaries on those if I had to. I don't have much experience with region free blu-rays, or at least blu-rays from other countries. I have one that only works in my PS4, but all the features seemed to work. I just want to make sure that if I get the UK version, that the commentaries and all features will work. I've read that WB blu-rays are usually region free. |

You should be fine with the Exorcist - all the extras seem to either 24Hz or 60Hz. Its an American production in the first place so it wouldn't be expected to be troublesome. A European production on the other hand would possibly have 50Hz content.
