I have been a UK Amazon Prime member for a long time. Since we retired in 2019, we spend about 6 months in the UK (May to October inclusive) and the other 6 months in India. I have an Amazon India Prime account as well.
When I installed smart TVs including a Home Cinema in India, I chose to keep my Prime location as UK. This enabled me to watch all movies and TV programs that I actually bought in the UK on my Indian system as well but NOT those that are on my free watchlist, including most Amazon Originals like Thirteen Lives. Thirteen Lives was available free on Amazon Prime India but in order to watch it, I had to change my location from the UK to India. I did that but then found that all my India based Smart TVs and also changed to the Indian location, making all my UK purchased Amazon Prime films inaccessible. I had therefore to change back to the UK location, but this could only be done through the tedious process of phoning Amazon. So, is there any safe way by which I can change my location from UK to India and back as necessary through my Laptop? The smart TVs seem to follow suit but I was unable to find the relevant link in either amazon site. |

Believe the key to do this easily is by using a VPN. This site tells you how, if you had a US location, but should have enough info to apply it to your situation ==> https://www.topvpnservice.com/blog/h...99re%20done%21
