Default Anybody interested in the optoma 4k projectors

Seems like 4k projectors are getting a lot cheaper. The UH60 by optoma is less than 2k. Seems like some companies are trying to make 4k more affordable. I just brought the sony vpl 45 es last year for the same price. I've read nothing but good reviews about them. I'm sure the cheapest sony 4k projector for about 5k might be better, for that much it should be. But from what I've seen and read, it's not by much.

You should also research the BenQ 2550 4K. Some great articles are popping up comparing the “under $2000 4K category”

BenQ 2550 4K seems to have pretty bad sync issues in 3d "On 3D, the PJ auto inverts synch every couple of minutes randomly. It seems unable to stay synched to left-eye first, or right-eye first 3D titles. Manually toggling synch works, only to have PJ auto invert it a minute or two later. BenQ's own 2050 does 3D so well, it's disappointing about HT2550."

The 3d synch issue has apparently been resolved with new firmware.

I've heard June sometime. Some outlets have them in stock already.
