Stunning design work in this, the production design really blew me away. Loved it.

Oh they got that part right. No doubt. Just wish things were more fleshed our character wise and the world was built up better. Only had ONE city absorption and that took place in the first ten minutes. Just could have been so much more, IMO.

Well they had to stuff a lot into one movie. I wouldn't be surprised if the original script was much longer, this is Jackson and Boyens we're talking about here. The final movie runs a little under two hours, i bet it was probably cut down quite a bit. Considering how much was crammed into less than two hours, i think they did a terrific job as the movie is still perfectly coherent with some well drawn characters and excellent world building.

It appears that the universe (or Amazon UK/whoever they ship to the US with) doesn't want me to see this one. I've placed 2 orders (one when it first dropped to 10 pounds back in May and then again when it dropped back to 10 pounds recently) and both were "returned to amazon UK by the carrier"... contemplating trying another order, third time's the charm?. I've gotten some zavvi packages from the UK in between these cancelled orders sooo I really don't know what's going on with this one.

Weird. I would definitely drop an email to Amazon about it and politely ask what happened (twice!) - they sometimes have more info about why things were returned than will show up on the tracking the likes of us have access to. I'm assuming you've had other orders arrive ok to the same address?

It'll be well worth the effort - cracking, underrated film and lovely 3D presentation, IMHO.

Really liked this and the 3d

The stalker thing had amazing dimensionality, colours were fantastic

Depth was v good and helped the scale of the giant london machine

Guns pointing out screen didnt pop like fhey should have, like men in black 3, and embers floating about showed good layers but not in your face like on fright night.

But 8 out of ten this and the 4k v nice

3d edges it

Was kind of waiting for the French 4K+3D combo pack to drop in price so I could grab it(never dropped below the 30€ base price), but now it seems like it's not available anymore.
I really hope it comes back in stock.

I have no idea what you're talking about. It sounded spot on to me.

Who are these “others”? This was an excellent 3D presentation (including Atmos!) from my own personal experience supported by the majority of posters on this forum.

Most of the comments I'd seen here & elsewhere gave low marks to the 3D. Haven't seen it myself

Perhaps you should consider increasing your sample size beyond one.

So what's the hold up? It's cheap and it's 3D. Bonus: it's 3D with Atmos, no 'muxing about' with this one.

For me & most others, Atmos is irrelevant. Though I'm happy it has it for those who need it. And there are PLENTY of films in which 3D is nearly non-existent (Star Trek Beyond, Tomb Raider, etc) I'll give it a rental, or perhaps it will pop up on HBO 3D this week. (Yes, I'm aware HBO is not equal to BD)

What do you use for 3D display?

Star Trek Beyond has excellent 3D! Based on that comment and others about Blade Runner 2049 (awesome 3D), I can only conclude that some people clearly have two bit displays....
