Looking forward to 1930's universal film and Barbara Stanwyck 3-Film Collection (Hoping it's 30's or 40's films). I want all the 30's and 40's films from both deals. I remember when blu rays came out only color titles were released for first 5 years. Time to make up for it as I prefer black and white. Also want lonely are the brave.

Another strong month of British films and many which I will be getting. Nice that the Pink Panther cartoons are seeing a 6 disc set since I haven't got them yet and they were one of my favorite cartoons growing up. Also, will be watching for what the film noir and Stanywck titles will be.

Can anyone sell me on ME, NATALIE? I've never seen it but with Al Pacino and Patty Duke in the film I'm intrigued.

Great cast, Patty Duke, who was never more cuter, won a Golden Globe for her great performance, Pacino's film debut and one of two feature films ever directed by Fred Coe, the other, A Thousand Clowns (1965).

ME, NATALIE surprised me by being a really good drama. Like Candice Bergen in T. R. BASKIN, Patty Duke gave an excellent performance and surpassed my expectations. I'll be picking this up.

Old Boyfriends finally. The only John Belushi movie that never got a DVD release. Now I can start hoping Continental Divide is one of their Universal titles. Goiní South, on the other hand will probably take someone like KL getting a Paramount deal, Iím sure itís pretty far down on Shout Factoryís wish list.

Re. Narrow Margin (1990) - Koch Media have just announced a Blu-ray release for May, boasting a new 4K restoration. Kino may have been holding off on announcement until the restoration was completed. In any case, I think they'd be wise to announce their release before May, to save people importing.

I was *this* close to putting '(1990)' after it lol.

I think the original is with WB, so Warner Archive or Criterion I imagine.

So are the may titles all still part of the first universal deal or a mixture of first deal and second deal titles?

That's what I'd like to know, given we're still waiting on an 80s title and possibly a 30s title from the first deal.

After getting off easy in February, I abused my wallet a bit on the March pre-orders from the KLSC site. Classic westerns, cannibal apocalypses, superdomes, Navarone, oh my...

I also added a couple of older Kirk Douglas titles that I had been dragging my feet on.

I haven't seen Me, Natalie but I loved everything about A Thousand Clowns except the direction. Just saying.

Waiting for a restoration to be completed doesn't sound like a good enough reason to keep an acquisition under wraps, though. The Kino insider has, on occasion, let us know that a Blu-ray's release date was on hold pending a restoration if someone inquires and people have been inquiring about Narrow Margin for years. The Koch Media release will be mine unless Kino announces it before it streets.
