Where to buy Dualshock 3 Controller for PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

Hello, I'm hoping someone on here knows where to buy a genuine Sony Dualshock 3 Controller. Amazon doesn't seem to have them, Best Buy and Target don't seem to carry them either. Any other places I should look? I bought what I thought was a genuine one from newegg but it was a knockoff and now it doesn't function properly. HELP!

I did already, actually both Ebay and Amazon. In looking at the reviews, people kept saying they were knockoffs and so I'm not sure what to do. I would really like to get a genuine Sony one and I'm not sure ebay/amazon can be trusted. Damn...

Just plug your PS4 controller in it. It works. If you don't have a PS4..... try Gamestop I guess

The PS4 controller can be used with the PS3, however it isn't compatible with all games since it lacks a Start Button and Six Axis support.

eBay seems to be the only place. I bought 2 from eBay about a week ago for $24 each. I'd leave a link but the buyer is fresh out. I'd stay away from the ones that ship from China though.

That's cool, I think you got lucky. Several of the ones I've checked out are dicey and if you ask the seller a question, they don't reply. Also, there were several videos on youtube where they mentioned that some sellers will sell you fake ones eventhough they look identical when they show the pictures. It isn't until you get it in person that you know they cheated you. I bought one from NewEgg and it turned out to be a fake one...so that's why i'm being very careful now.
