Default PS Plus Questions

So, I am going on 10 years with my Playstation. My PS3 just died and I picked up a PS4 Pro about a month a ago. I had a few questions regarding the PS Plus.

Current Understanding

$59.99 -- This allows online play, access to discounts with in the PlayStation Store. I can also download some Free games.

Questions

1 - When I buy I game I assume it is linked to my PSN account. Does that mean I can go back and download the game at any time on my PS4?

2 - As long as I have current PS Plus membership. If i download free games while I have my membership, I assume those games are not longer accessible?

1) Yes you can delete and re-download PS4 compatible games at anytime. I frequently purchase digitally, beat the game, and then delete it. A year later I can re download it if I feel like playing it again.

2) They are always accessible once you claim them. Every first Tuesday of the month (except holidays) the Playstation Plus games will change. You need you click the Playstation Plus icon and click the button "add to library" under the games you want. Sorry for the long answer, but yes they are locked if you run out of Playstation Plus.

So for point number 2, once you claim them you always have them, or they go away if you stop being a Plus member?

As soon as my plus expired the games had padlocks on them

Once claimed the games are in your library forever, however they can only be played when a membership is active.

Ive been on PS Plus for years, LOVE IT.
The amount of free games is staggering.
Great popular games too, not junk.
