I agree... maybe release the Scream trilogy & Rush Hour series first.

I wouldn't. "Even the trees walked in those movies." LOL

I'd probably pick up Mortal Kombat for the cheese factor, and Se7en's just a classic in my mind.

LOTR, though I think it will be a while.

But hopefully they release Se7en in the near future.

I'm surprised no one mentioned The Lawnmower Man. I'm dying to see that on Blu-ray. Also, Dark City as well. That's one of my all time favorite flicks.

Even though sales tend to be sluggish on comedies, I think they could do pretty well with the Austin Powers series. I still enjoy these on repeat viewing and I'm sure that I'm not alone. They could also do a lot of fun stuff with this series once we get BD-Live up and running. such as On-line trivia and the like.

Se7en and LOTR for sure. I had to think about Blade though. Ultimately I think that I would buy that as well, but I don't consider it a must-have.

Austin Powers, LOTR, Final Destination, Se7en, and a History of violence.

If there is any chance that the quad-layer Hitachi disk that was demonstrated to work with normal optics could become feasible as soon as Q4 this year then I want LOTR EE on those disks.

From the poll i picked Lord of The Rings, Austin Powers, Mortal Kombat, and TMNT. But to be honest, I'd only get the first Mortal Kombat

New Line has a lot of good ones, most of which are in this poll. However, I really want to see Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny! I wasn't a fan of Jack Black until I saw this movie, hilarious! That along with the first Blade flick would be incredible!

LOTR that will drive in the most hard core red supporters to buy into blu, although for a short period of time they will deny it.

Mystik is correct. It should help to drive both Reds and fence sitters to BLU. Which movies would I want? The Austin Powers flicks for the kids and of course...LOTR-extended versions, for me.

That is a good point, but I think Warner's announcement will do this also. Even the hardcore reds will eventually sway, or just go back to dvd. I'm also thinking by the time LOTR turns up on blu, hd-dvd will have gone the way of the dodo, but if it hasn't, then the rings movies will probably be the killing blow.
