Default New Line Cinema's Up Coming Movies

I am not sure, if there is already a thread on this topic but if they are I am sorry. Anyway I have been surfing the Net here lately and I have found some lists with New Line Cinema's new movies thats coming out.

1. (2008-2010) (A Nightmare on Elm street prequel): All I have seen on this is that Wes Craven has been coming to New Line about taking the job as director. The story is a supposed to occur before the first Nightmare and cover lots of questions. Like Freddy being a Janitor at a school before he started his reign of terror and then he gets burned.
2. (2009) (Friday the 13th, remake): All I have seen on this is that New Line is remaking the friday the 13th and is going to cover the first 4 Friday the 13ths in the remake. They plan on covering how he became Jason and whats the deal with the mask. They have hired Damian Shannon and Mark Swift which was the two that wrote Freddy Vs.Jason to write a script. The best is that they are getting Michael Bay to direct it after the success of his remake of the Texas Chainsaw Masacre.
3. (2009) (Gears of War)
4. (2010) (Final Destination 4): All I could find on this is that they are wanting the first accident to happen on a Boat or a falling Elavator Glass.
5. (TBA) Freddy Vs. Jason 2
I have gathered this information from differnet sites on the web and the most accurate was BloodyDisgusting.com and Wikipedia. I am not 100%, but I get a lot of info from these sites and they are usually good and reliable. If you are interested just go and look and see what you think. Thanks!!!!!!!

Freddy vs Jason would be great. Blade Trilogy a must, Possibly Austin Powers and Final Destination. Lord of the Rings, well didn't think that one needed saying.

I believe the newest news on the new A Nightmare on Elm Street movie, is that it is not going to be a prequel. On bloody-disgusting.com they have a short article that they got confirmed today stating that they are scraping all the previous thoughts on a new movie (prequel). Should know more by the end of the year.

Oooo, my new favorite thread. I love New Line and I LOVE the Nightmare series. I have been waning the prequel for a long time and I'm glad to hear that it is still a possibility. Another Freddy vs. Jason would be awesome!

We could use some old school blood shed on Blu

Any new Freddy movie would be awsome because I love those movies. I also read that Freddy Vs. Jason 2 would be after the new Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm street.

It was first shot down after the Ash thing, but it is being planned on a future release, just no script yet.

A source tells Bloody Digusting that as of right now, there are NO immediate plans for "Freddy vs Jason 2".

The good news is that New Line is actively developing both the previously announced "Friday the 13th" remake, and another "Nightmare on Elm Street" movie.

All previous plans for the 'Elm Street' sequel, most notably a prequel concept, have been scrapped and things are back at square one - ideas are being thrown around without anything solid locked down.

yes... "horror" films...it's too bad that they're remaking Friday the 13th, they're just gonna add nudity and gore, it's not gonna be any good. It'll be this whole Halloween Remake Crap all over again
