Im not very familiar with these studios, but is it possible that any of those studios would be working on another Hitman game?

I heard recently that Eidos was/is/had been sold...the last Hitman game was amazing and I think it would be awesome on PS3.

Thanks

Wasn't Eidos the company that was purchased by Sqeenix? They haven't been very PS3-friendly lately.

Also added [Blu-ray Disc] Toro to Morimori BeXide, SCEJ / SCEI

A Party Game sequel to Doko Demo Issyo (PocketStation) celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

Quote:
The latest one announced -- just in time for Dokodemo Issho's tenth birthday -- is Toro to Morimori, slated for a summer PS3 release in Japan. Toro's been busy for the past couple years with Mainichi Issho, a PS3 online game that's a mix of social interaction and multiplayer minigames, and this disc is basically an expansion on that title, with over 30 expanded minigames and a variety of new mini-stories for Toro and the rest of the characters that inhabit its world.
http://www.pinoyps.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=26303
Quote:
Sony will be bringing back its Dokodemo Issyo series to the PlayStation 3 -- and, to smaller extent, to the PSP as well! Titled "Toro to Mori Mori," the new game is a mini story collection that follows the "shocking last scene" from the original Docodemo Issyo game (I put "shocking last scene" in quotes because I never played the original and wasn't sure if it was really shocking or not).

This is presumably the new Toro game that Sony has been teasing at its website for the past week or so.

As the story apparently goes, the last scene of Dokodemo Issyo had Toro part from the player and head off in pursuit of his dream of becoming human, a pursuit that continues today. One day, Toro is told that a "Memory Notebook" that he received from his black cat friend Kuro, can grant him a wish once he's filled it with the thanks and appreciation of people. Thus, Toro travels around helping people out, filling his book with thankful memories in the hope of becoming human.

The game appears to be a collection of mini games. Clear each game, and you clear one story, and are able to open the door to the next story.

Over 30 mini games are included in all, putting Toro and Kuro, in series tradition, in various cosplays, from soccer players to afros. Included in the bunch are four player multiplayer games. The games are all refined versions of the mini games that are available for the Mainichi Issyo download title.

While Toro to Mori Mori is a PS3 game, it will have a a PSP component in the form of a mini appli called "Doko Itsu Tokei," or "Doko Itsu Clock." The retail listing also mentions offline demos of Mainichi Issyo for the PS3 and PSP -- I presume these are just offline demo versions of the downloadable Mainichi Issyo title, which is currently available for PS3 and PSP.

Toro to Mori Mori is set for July 23 release at 4,980 yen.

One of our PlayStation 3 PSN titles have been approved for release. As soon as we get a date and our publisher releases details, we will let you all know about it however it should be hitting a PSN store near you very soon.
Quote:
The 40-strong studio, which has produced top titles for Sony consoles, including Go! Puzzle, Buzz! Junior: Dino Den and Buzz! Junior: Ace Racers, now has a string of exclusive and as-yet unnamed titles in development for release on Playstation 3 throughout the year.
http://www.cohortstudios.com/blog/pr...lease20090511/

'Production X' may also be a title for SCEE, at the very least it's PS3 exclusive.

Quote:
At this moment in time we are working on a Blu-Ray title for a major publisher which we are extremely excited about. We are unable to tell you what this title is, but we hope that it will be announced shortly.
Quote:
Finally, we are hopeful that our main project - an original PlayStation 3 title - will receive its announcement and first showing at E3 this year. With this in mind, we are heading over to E3 to catch up with as many people as possible. Feel free to contact us to arrange a meet if you are there during the first week in June.

Ecochrome Gets YouTube Support (and PLAYSTATION Eye!)

US, May 13, 2009 - Sony will be giving another one of its older PlayStation 3 titles a major update shortly. The company announced today in Japan an update to Echochrome that adds a number of community features to the game.

There are two particularly notable features for the update: PS Eye and YouTube support. Using the PS3 camera peripheral, you'll be able to record footage of yourself as you play the game. The footage is shown in a corner of the screen. You can save your recorded clips to your PS3 hard drive and also share them with the rest of the world through direct YouTube upload.

The update will also provide a number of other yet unannounced features.

Players of the Japanese version of Echochrome can look forward to the update patch on the 21st. There's no word yet on international plans for the update, but it sounds like a safe bet.
