Default Best 3rd film of a Bond actor!

3rd film is usually the one where the Bond actor appears the most settled. The script can get fine-tuned too to suit the actor and incorporate elements that worked in the first two films.

Too bad that Dalton missed out on his 3rd outing.

The Spy Who Loved Me is my favourite and also the best I think for a number of reasons – including opening scene/locations/some pleasing cinematography/first appearance of Jaws. People sometimes complain about occasionally silly elements in the Moore films, but I can't recall any in evidence here.

Fairly close call with Goldfinger though. Those are two of the very best Bond films.

Spy Who Loved Me... still my all time favorite 007 film (and the first I ever saw in the theater).

I enjoy all of them but it’s Goldfinger for me.

As great as Goldfinger is, it has to be Skyfall for me.

Tough choice... Voted for Skyfall, which is just excellent, but Goldfinger is an absolute classic, & Spy is special to me as the first Bond I saw in a theater. Hell, three way tie for favorite third film.
