With 25 EON Bond films in the collection, time to pick the top 7 (based on current dynamics) in this mega poll!

In the poll, pick the 7 films that you prefer the most for whatever reasons - quality, favorite, repeat value, the Bond girl/villain factor, etc.

I have picked films based on a variety of factors including quality, legacy/staying power, repeat value, style, uniqueness, etc. ... The bond actor factor is not in consideration, however, the lead actor's performance in a film can be a factor that elevates a Bond film.

In the order of release:

The first three Bond films DRNO, FRWL, and GF are special, sporting some iconic Bond moments and memorable characters, and hold up well in 2022, therefore, difficult to look past them.

Next, I have gone with TSWLM, which ups the ante for a Big Bond villain film, incorporating a major stunt in the pre-title sequence, which is followed by one of the iconic Bond songs. The chases are next level for e.g. in the Italian segment, Bond is first followed by a bike, then a car, then a helicopter, and when you wonder what's next, the car turns into a submarine. The locations too are among the best in a Bond film. This is a film designed for Roger Moore' Bond:

FYEO is chosen for its relative simplicity and for bringing Bond back to earth after his sojourn on the moon in the previous film. Here Bond relies less on gadgets and more on his wits. In the pre-title sequence, he gets out of a hopeless situation using his street smartness. In the Spain segment, his "high-tech" Lotus is destroyed, therefore, he has to rely on his skills driving the Citroen 2CV. There is a segment where he is tied and dragged underwater, requiring again his brains to get out of the situation. Finally, his climbing skills are tested in the finale.

TLD is picked for Dalton's performance which is probably closer to the Bond in Fleming's books. A story that nicely builds up on Fleming's short story

... The interaction b/w Bond and Kara. Add great stunts and score (Barry goes out in style). And the last cold war Bond film shot during the cold war era, therefore, an element of history is attached to the film. What more can you ask for?

CR, the best Bond film of the 21st century. We get to see cool action sequences including the parkour chase. After a long time, Fleming's work is utilized well. There are various interesting characters that drive the film. Deals with the concept of how Bond becomes the Bond we know.

Most people would like TND (or any Bond film), however, it received fewer votes so far because it is not in the top 7 list of most!
