I am thinking about purchasing a Peachtree Decco 65 or a Peachtree Audio Nova 125 and was wondering if the decco 65 would be enough power for the speakers I am about to get after finishing the auditioning. I have already auditioned the PSB imagine B bookshelf and was thinking of getting them. I am now leaning to the Totem Rainmaker. The place where I get my gear doesn't let me take the demos all at once so it is difficult to A/B them. But it looks like I am liking the Totems.
If i could save some money with the Decco65 it would be great. I am a little skeptical because on other forums they say the older generation was lacking in the amp but have improved with this new line. The other question is, I was wondering, if I should connect using USB or optical to my Mac Pro. I don't have any optical cables left. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. |
