I am sure this has been asked, but has Shout considered trying to get the rights of the mid 80's Rad movie to be released on Blu-ray?

Love everything you have planned, and will buy them all...thanks for all the great work and picking such great titles.

Any chance of ever seeing "Curtains"?

Regarding Halloween II:

Will the deleted scenes / alternate ending from the Universal blu-ray be carried over separately from the full TV cut?

I asked shortly before the boards crashed, but if there was a reply I didn't see it in time.

Could the company get the rights to Grizzly 2:The Concert or The Town That Dreaded Sundown?

I posted this on your facebook page:

I am curious, are you planning to rescan the Halloween II negative for the bluray release?? I know thats probably too costly and the Universal release looks okay aside from a few pops and scratches.

I would really really like the highest quality bluray audio and video you can get! The first Universal release was decent. I got the reissue sent in the mail for removing Moustaphas name.

Upon getting the reissue, bluray.com fans realized they also corrected the audio, it wasn't lossless audio?

My final comment is the Universal bluray menu of Halloween II was really boring! This movie is great and deserves a great release in quality. I am happy to hear about the bonus features and extra tv version of the film!!!! Shout, you never fail to deliver fantastic dvds and blurays. One of my fav releases from you is the My So Called Life boxset.

We did once. I can't remember why it wasn't available.

Yes, that would be very costly.
I haven't seen our master yet so I don't know if it's the same master yet.

Hi Cliff,

I was sorry to hear that the Corman releases did not sell well. I've greatly enjoyed them all and thought they looked fine. Are there any more Cormans down the pipeline?

Here's one that got lost right before the purge: Are Full Moon titles (like LASERBLAST or 80s stuff) on the table or are they tied up elsewhere? (Loved the Shout factory disc of DAMNATION ALLEY, by the way) thanks.

I'm curious as to if it is possible for you to gain access to the Halloween 6 rights, and if so, finally make it possible to restore and release what all the Halloween fans have been waiting years for: an OFFICIAL producer's cut of Halloween 6.

I loved those Corman Blu-rays, got all of them, so I too was sorry about the lack of interest. However, Shout Factory releases look to take their mantel. I'm personally looking forward to Holloween II, with all the special features.

Be nice

Cliff,
I wish you much success with the Scream Factory line. I'll be purchasing Halloween II, Halloween III, Phantasm II, They Live and The Funhouse day one!

Some Universal titles I would love to see you acquire and release:

* Psycho II
* Psycho III
* Psycho IV: The Beginning
* Psycho ('98 remake)
* Child's Play
* Child's Play 2
* Child's Play 3
* Bride of Chucky
* Seed of Chucky
* The Island (1980)
* Army of Darkness (theatrical and director's cuts)
* Prince of Darkness

Also, I wish Scream had acquired the rights to Halloween 6 and Halloween H20. You would have done these titles justice. I hope when Echo Bridge's licensing rights expire on these 2, you snatch them up!!!!

I AGREE! Halloween H20 deserves better. I would hope JLC would want to contribute to the bluray as well as Kevin Williamson.

Whats terrible is Lakeshore Ent, or whomever owns the rights to the film Elivra, Mistress of the Dark, won't budge with the rights to that film. Cassandra Peterson has a ton of behind the scenes footage and she would do commentary and interviews on the film if given the chance. Id love a bluray of Elvira.
