Hey, after firing up the West Side Story Blu-ray for my wife and guests, I picked up my remote and looked down at the buttons to adjust the volume, for only about 5 seconds, and I totally missed all the footage relating to online hoopla with that title.

Wife and guests totally enjoyed the entire Blu-ray movie. I fell asleep after about 15min. but the upside is, nobody minded at all, and in fact one of guests told my wife afterwards, 'you are so lucky that your husband doesn't snore'.

I saw that. I also notice that Man City lost some ground on ManU, no? Please no comments\hints about the outcome of today's Arsenal match (at least without spoilers) until I gets the chance to view the recording on my DVR, which given my schedule, may not be for several days.

Thanks

This morning, I didn’t see this sad news being reported in any of the usual outlets (Variety, THR, etc.) as of yet, so it should be recognized that a father of modern stereography recently passed over the weekend, namely ALAIN DEROBE. Although some may not have heard of him by name, 3D aficionados should recognize at least one of his works

He will be missed.

Just imagine if you had turned on a soccer game instead.

You would have been the only one awake.

Football requires extreme talent. The ability to unlock defenses with intricate, skillful moves and passes. If you can't recognize that beauty then, you will indeed find a 0-0 draw boring. Having said that, there have been countless, thrilling games involving multiple goals but you have just bypassed that in your assessment.

Ironically, (for you) there were no 0-0 draws in last Saturday's Premiership fixtures! Zero in the Championship also i believe!

Yes, we all know that if the act of scoring isn't taking place in a given moment, clearly nothing is. I, for one, even got tired of watching basketball. Sure, the score would be 101-102, but there was all that dull stuff every few seconds where they were just getting to the basket.

While you concentrate on the hors d'oeuvre (soccer) I take in the entire meal.

Stayed up late to watch the match last night.

At around the 15min.? mark…..53 sec. between goals!....and that’s without stopping the clock like in American football to let the respective offense and defense mosey off the field and allow the ‘specialty’ teams time to trot on…and, of course, the mandated commercial break.

Arsenal for the win!….right at the end of the game, in added time.
