Neither Bisera, nor the character she plays are particularly notable.
She got an "and" credit?! Oh. Well he didn't say that. He just said he wondered what led to the "Olga Bisera as Felicca" credit. He didn't say it was an "and" credit.

I had a blast watching this at my local Cineworld the other night! Out of all the Bond releases, this was the one I was looking forward to the most and it was all worth it ; A pretty good response from the audience, too ; there were some people behind me who were groaning at some of the one-liners, which in a way made things funnier ; I'll never not laugh at "why don't you lie down... and let me look at it"

And the original United Artists/Transamerica ident appeared before the gun barrel. It wasn't on the Blu-ray ; new transfer?

Cineworld's doing the Bond marathon too? I thought it was only Odeon and Vue.

Yeah. It works for me, as I have an unlimited card, but I ended up seeing FRWL and YOLT at my local Odeon instead, because I missed them...

I'm really looking forward to Moonraker on Monday, just for the sheer insanity of it.

Well since we're being pedantic...

It's actually not an "And" credit as such. Curt Jurgens gets an solo "as" credit (Richard Kiel had to wait until Moonraker for his) ,Bernard Lee gets an "As M" credit after a list of several other performers (which was customary for him and Judi Dench, but not Robert Brown), then there is an "And" section listing the rest of the cast, which ends with "Olga Bisera as Felicca"

A beautiful track, totally missing from the finished film (although it is in the Jackie Chan classic SNAKE & CRANE ARTS OF SHAOLIN!)

Pedantic? Hang on a minute, how was I being pedantic? Let's recap. You said you wondered what led to that "Olga Bisera as Felicca" credit. That's how you put it originally. I didn't know at the time who that was or how she'd been credited or how anyone else had or had not been credited. It might surprise you to know that I haven't actually memorised the credits of The Spy Who Loved Me. I don't know them all off by heart. I couldn't understand why you were wondering about her credit. As far as I was concerned at the time, if she's in the movie, why wouldn't she get a credit? Then RCRochester said, as if he for some reason thought I already knew, that it wasn't that you were questioning her getting a credit at all, you were just questioning why she'd get an "and" credit. Assuming that meant that she'd been credited like this,

and
Olga Bisera as Felicca

I then thought, ah, now I get it, of course that's odd. If only Killer Meteor had said that's how she'd been credited, I wouldn't have asked why he was questioning her credit. So I pointed that out. What's wrong with that? How is that being pedantic? NOW you're specifying that she wasn't credited like that and exactly how she was credited and exactly why you're questioning her credit so NOW I fully understand. I don't get you and RCRochester both acting as if I should already have known exactly how she and everyone else in the cast did or didn't get credited. Is it too much to ask that, when you question something, you specify exactly what it is you're questioning and why, so no one gets confused?

Hey, don't drag me into it. I was just trying to help out and clarify the possible reason why he would question her credit like that, I wasn't acting like it was something you would already be expected to know.

Oh I rather like that bit!

Of course, if you want to hear Bond'77 AND music from Saturday Night Fever in the same picture, Bruceploitation is your answer!

One of the best Bond films. I like the usual things about it – the ski chase/the locations/the shark tank on Atlantis/the fist fight and "What a helpful chap" line/Jaws/the Lotus.

I caught the end of GOLDEN GUN when it was on TV last weekend and I noticed a bit where an explosion knocked Roger and Britt to the floor.

I assume this is the scene he's talking about?

Damn, British genre cinema is so incestuous!

Default Nobody Does it with echo?

Has anyone noticed that on the TSWLM Blu-ray, the music is really echoy during the opening title sequence. The song isn't mixed that way on the album, and certainly not on the theatrical release. Was there a QC problem during the mastering of this release? Anyone have any intel?
