thank you for joyning the forum and posting such detail post about your relation to my work and multichannel music in general
it is really pleasure for me to see that sonicly educated new members becoming my listeners
i can not appreciate this more.

regarding your question at the present moment i have not at the position to discass my relationship with Sony Music in a public forum.

my downloads samples wil give you an opportunity to test your playback by creating a sample disc as well as a enjoy 7.1 surround in dts-hd.

thank you again and welcome

I have a wonderful 7.1 channel setup, which is all too infrequently used with 7.1 discrete source material, 5.1 being the norm on Blu-ray or 5.0 with SACD. I also own two of the Surround Records Blu-rays: The Mozart/Brendel disk and the Bach/Fasolis disks. We have compared the Brendel to the Philips (OOP) SACD of the Mozart Concerto #25, and the Fasolis to the Arts SACD of the Bach Suites. In both cases, the Blu-rays sounded noticeably better than SACD’s on three different systems (one 7.1 and two 5.1) to three different sets of ears. Indeed, the Brendel disk delivers about the best piano sound I think I have ever heard.

But, there is still considerable mystery about what you are doing. This thread and your, pardon the term, anemic website or disk liner notes simply do not answer a host of obvious questions. I have been all through this thread, and I am still befuddled.

I think it is clear that the “Acoustic Reality Experience” series are licensed remasterings by you of multichannel sessions recorded by others. It is not perfectly clear how these came to be 7.1, as opposed to 5.0. Did you have access in the remastering to additional back channels or were these derived from the 5.0 mix. (The Philips SACD is, according to Erdo Groot now of Polyhymnia, a 5.0 release mislabeled as 5.1, but 5.1 vs. 5.0 is inconsequential). I do sense that the additional back channels add a sense of a larger hall with a distinct rear wall and that they provide a “behind the head” fill that is absent or attenuated in the 5 channel ITU setup I use for SACD’s. But, it does not, frankly, sound totally lifelike to me. It sounds a bit artificial vs. my live concert experience.

I just recently discovered your “New Dimensions of Sound Symphonic Series” and the mystery has grown exponentially. I realize that you may not wish to disclose proprietary secrets about your technique. But, where can I develop a better understanding of the recording technique employed on these disks? What is a “virtual conductor”? Who is the Surround Records International Orchestra? Does it exist as a body of players – apparently not? Is it recorded in a hall in real time with 7 or more discrete channels – apparently not? Is it built up Les Paul-style by smaller groups in multiple “voice overs”? Is it extracted and manipulated from previously recorded performances – perhaps so, but from discrete multichannel source material? Whatever they are, the answers to these questions will not deter me from buying any of these releases. It is only the veil of mystery surrounding them that is a deterrent.

Since this thread does not answer my questions, where might I find the answers?

Also, what is that reference , “courtesy of SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT” doing on your website multiple times? Do you or do you not have any affiliation with Sony?

Finally, I thought I saw multiple references to downloads of your material. Since your website is of no help, are they available in hi rez multichannel? How and where?

In Amazon user reviews, some have praised your work, while others have accused you of being a charlatan. I take no position on it other than to praise what I have heard. I have reported in glowing terms in forums at sa-cd.net and at hi rez highway the sonic results from the two disks of yours I have heard. If this newer material is recreated or simulated by electronic manipulation or anything else, much as the excellent Zenph stuff is, that is not a deterrent for me. The sonic results will speak for themselves. But, please, demystify the process. I think it can only help in marketing your efforts on disk.

Ok, thanks. But, you have avoided answering my main questions. The mystery continues.

P.S. - how and where does one obtain the downloads?

actually mystery is a part of my public image,
you just need to read previous posts on the subjects you interested

OK, So be it. This thread hardly answers any of my questions, which is why I posed them. Mystery is one thing, evasiveness is quite another. It's your choice, of course. But, I think you are shooting yourself in the foot marketing- and sales-wise, unless you have something to hide beyond just proprietary secrets. I have no incentive, no sufficient curiosity to make further purchases of your stuff.

Aha, the plot thickens. Now, my last post has been deleted, though it was fair, accurate and civil. In just a few days, I have now come full circle in my opinion of you - from inquiring open mindeness to realizing that you are quite a slippery piece of work. I will just have to make mention of this in a main thread where you cannot censor or suppress me. But, I have learned what I came here to learn. You are not to be trusted.

my apologies that I could not fully answer fitzcaraldo215 post right after it was posted in my thread.

first of all let me acknowledge you with background info to my development:

Multichannel surround sound reproduction is a current stage of the natural development of the technology of sound reproduction that started with Edison's invention of the phonograph in 1877 until the 1950s. Second stage of Stereo was based on inventions from the 1930s, reached the public in the mid-'50s, and has provided great listening Pleasure for four decades. Stereo improved the reproduction of timbre and added two dimensions of space: the left- right spread of performers across a Stage, and a set of acoustic cues that allow listeners to perceive a front-to-back dimension.
Third Age represented by Multichannel surround sound technology, natural involving presence in A way that is robust, reliable and consistent there each individual sound can has its Unique location in 3-dimensional space.

getting right to the fist subject of the post about "Acoustic Reality Experience" titles i am glad to finally inform you that it was a very crucial point in our development to establish potential interest in blu-ray media for High End Audio back in 2008 then this series started to come out title by title opening the new door to multichannel music for forming customer awareness about advantages of purchasing blu-ray playback and sound equipment as well as classical music.
these tiles are being produced from prerecorded material other production houses for DVD-A and SACD that ensured high quality recording for future presentation in 7.1 surround sound that is idiotically similar to 5.1 previous releases, however L,C, R channels were produced to capture the stage presents with closer attention to center channel that in soloist/ orchestra performance accent the soloist on the sound stage and provided wider acoustical perception of an orchestra, surround channels were extended to give more dimension of audience effect in all cases captured absolutely naturally for this series as well as life channel was enhanced to compliment this effect of "Acoustic Reality" and that is the main reason and media advantage that make many to prefer my 7.1 mixes to previous 5.1 versions.

Besides this concept I only done one absolutely discrete 3-D sound presentation of Caetani Mahler 2nd "Resurrection" symphony that is actually featuring completely oscillated 7 audio sources placing the listener in the middle of an orchestra that made this record the real bargain of opinions and listening experiences between Audiophiles and General Public.

i started to produce "The New Dimension of Sound Series" in the late 2009 driven an idea to become a conductor of symphonic works and the best place to start was my audio engineering experience and classical music education being the performer in an orchestra, i was never too good to perform life as a soloist so i sturdy my partitures and each individual part separately that how i came to the solution of how complete symphonic work can be recorded by sections of instruments and solo performances, so i develop a network of music directors in eastern Europe who invited small group of performers in a studio and produced tracks just like in a modern music production like for
Tchaikovsky 5th we recorded 3 Flutes (3rd doubling Piccolo), 2 Oboes, 2 Clarinets, 2 Bassoons, 4 Horns, 2 Trumpets, 3 Trombones, Tuba, Timpani, Bass Drum, Cymbals, Tam-tam (ad libitum) and Strings by sections in indifferent studios so as a final I had over 24 tracks of audio ready for my virtual conducting work as a producer of these releases. to drop a few obvious questions aside the reference recording over the phones was used to sync the performers during production process and limited time compression or expansion was applied in an editing stage to achieve creative goal and provide proper tempo as how i hear the particular symphonic work for more dramatic overall effect to a listener. However final mix concept is very similar to "Acoustic Reality" titles L,C,R channels is a stage with the extended presentation of an audience in surrounds making this releases more acoustically suitable for General Audience not limited to 7.1 but 5.1 and even stereo reproduction.

I do believe in discussion as a point of improvement for my work as an Artist of Audio and welcome all opinions that constitute point of view supported by technical awareness and music appreciation and Amazon reviews in particular is a good sourse for me to learn about different oppinions surrounding my development that come sometimes surprizing frm both positive and negative sides putting a smile on my face as well

Exclamation

Dear Alexander,
a close look at my first post on this forum will show that i respectfully and politely asked for help. That help could very well have consisted on just giving me a customer support number or email adress to help solve my problem.
FACT is that you initially promised me a replacement, be it good will or not, then you never followed suit.
Btw, you renewed your promise on june 12th -in the forum this time - and still have not come true to your promise, which is DISRESPECTFUL , as was your comment about a personal message on the replacement disc you promised to burn yourself.
Not to mention about you editing my post and were not even able to correctly spell or copy/paste my name.

It is not amazonīs role to open every disc and check it for content, that is the role of the manufacterer and his quality control.
Respect has to be earned and can easily be lost.
So please, give credit to whom it is due. I give blame to whom it is due.
You make vague allusions to all kinds of bigwig stuff you are involved in with governmental agencies. Next time you see any of them or just about any lawyer, ask him about customer rights.
I was not and i am not looking for a free ride, you asked me for proof of purchase and i proved it.
Instead of asking for respect for your behaviour, how about respecting customer rights.
You know very well that nobody will take you to court for $20, yet you are playing your good name by "good will" as you call it.
I guess your edit to my post with "good luck" was a sign of respect.
Go on with your false claims, if you wish so i can prove my statements.
As far as i am concerned, i will not do any other business with an artist who does not understand the concept of business.
Pls understand that i am not damaging your name, your actions are doing it it.
The other forum members deserve to know the difference between what you post and promise publicly and what you really do and donīt do.
I will look into your business practices and try to show you the respect you are really due.

Question Alexander Jero, do you sponsor product placement on amazon.com?

To all honest members of this forum, feel free to check the 5 star ratings of any Alexander Jero production on amazon. com.: http://www.amazon.com/s?url=search-a...+jero&x=9&y=13
You will be surprised to see that most of the 5 star reviewers did not buy the reviewed discs, but they do only review Alexander J productions.
This is very fishy.
Since this thread is called ask questions to insider Alex J, i am asking you respectfully:
are these reviews sponsored?
Where do these reviewers get all the inside infos about the performing artist, because they are not mentioned on the disc or the sleeve?
