Default Need help with grainy blu-ray picture quality

I would be grateful if anyone could help me with my new Hisense EN2A27HT TV. I have a Samsung ak59-0149a blu-ray player connected to the Hisense TV. When I play all my B&W blu-rays the picture quality looks very grainy, I tested with Criterions; 3:10 to Yuma, Night train to Munich,Here Comes Mr Jordan. I played around with the settings, I can't get rid of it. It is a major distraction to the movie. Please help. Thanks

Sharpness should be set to Zero or Off, otherwise you're introducing artificial sharpness. Test patterns will help to see what the correct settings are.

Grain is dependent on the content itself, so it can vary, with the correct settings it shouldn't be a distraction, but it will be more noticeable with some content over others.
