I thought their original Godzilla came out when the the first one came out but I may be mis-rembering. Maybe we as consumers are just too conditioned to expect the re-releases of originals when remakes come out (I know Fox and Saban disappointed me when the Power Rangers reboot came out in 2017 and neither original movie came on Blu-ray).

nah. Their BD release of Godzilla came out waaaaaaay before the 2014 film. Think it was 2010 or 2011
