I was on chat for about 20 min. Was first told by the agent that it was eligible for a price match, had me hold for a couple minutes, then came back and said his supervisor said it was not eligible because it was out of stock. I wasn't argumentative but told him that this seems to be very selective because others have been receiving the adjustment as recently as today, he had no response to that. I will just try again with someone else later.

edit - started a new chat pretty much right away, this time was granted the adjustment, just received the email confirmation - so yeah definitely depends on who you get

I tried chat 3 more times this morning, no dice. Decided to call and immediately got the match (even tho he couldn't see the 29.99 price)

3rd times the charm I guess. Got an adjustment today. With agent Brittney.

Only wondering how ill be refunded. I paid with both giftcards and credit card. Hoping its my credit card they'll refund.

After reading all these messages since my price match was denied yesterday, I gave it one more shot today. I was again denied the $5 price match, but the phone representative was nice and gave me a $5 refund for being an Elite member.

I was at Best Buy today and saw one copy in the new release section looked mint. I already have it. If someone in northside of Chicago is looking for it the Best Buy on Elston has it.
