Wow, I had no idea JBNZ did Region B Criterions. I guess it makes sense, though, given NZ's restickered imports. Looking ahead to the inevitable decline of physical media in Australia, I wonder if simply importing EUR releases and restickering them with local ratings will become a viable way to keep physical media in local stores?

Beats me. I don't even know if it's JB doing this themselves or if it's the same parallel-importer that used to supply The Warehouse with OFLC-stickered UK imports. Considering these things were often being sold for peanuts means they can't have been going through the usual OFLC rort, which is interesting considering how many of them are titles without a local BD release and some that do have a local release have different extras.

It sure is, given its usual price. I took advantage of this bargain last week. It works out to be around $19 a title. And that's great, especially when four of the six flicks included are absolute classics and not easy to get hold of. This set is currently even more pricey at JB's.

Not sure if anyone else got it but I got a $10 JB HiFi Perks voucher emailed to me - use by 22/1. So check your emails if you're a member.

Amazon.au has UHD Puss In Boots and Shrek 2 with 5% off for two making them $22.78 each. Shrek is currently $36.31 with the same deal. Seems like a reasonable price for US releases.

Thanks! Didn't even realise Puss in Boots was in 4K yet. I need to start browsing Amazon's daily deals, there are some steals in there.

It's worth going through the 'Buy 2 get 10% off' deal on UK stuff as well - often there will be something that makes it well worth it. I got the Back to the Future 4K trilogy from that for about $30.
