works for me. Vudu is pretty much all I care about.

Thinking of picking up Earth Girls are Easy, Cutthroat Island and Dream a Little Dream, but can't decide yet.

I don’t have a problem in general with Vudu. It’s just the lack of extras for Lionsgate movies, compared to on Apple. Funnily enough though, none of the three you are interested in have extras so I’d be fine picking them up on Vudu.
I might pull the trigger on earth girls, cutthroat island and buffalo 66 myself.

When fanflix lists a movie as HD, does that mean 1080p, 1080i, or 720p?

Typically 1080p. Vudu was the last (only?) retailer to offer a purchase option for 720p, but that went the way of the Dodo years ago.

FYI, the streaming provider determines the resolution, not Fanflix, so if there is any question on a particular movie you can check where you will watch it.

Thanks. I picked up a couple in the current sale and redeemed them on MoviesAnywhere. I guess I’ll find out when I watch them. I understand that the provider may down-res my stream for various reasons. I’d just like to know what my theoretical maximum would be.

I think the only viable reason for them to down-res your stream is if you're having internet bandwidth issues, as in you can't stream 1080p so they'll automatically down-res your stream to 720p/480p.
